Executive Directors

Ivy Kaplan Image

Ivy Kaplan M.Ed., BCBA
Mrs. Kaplan is co-founder, operator and direct supervisor of Foundations Therapy, Inc. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked with students with autism and related disabilities for the past 15 years. She has completed the Autism Endorsement; in addition, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, a Master’s degree in Reading and is a State of Florida Certified Teacher. Mrs. Kaplan has taught in a self-contained classroom for children with autism, was an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Specialist and was an Autism Coach who mentored teachers and paraprofessionals. She has attended extensive trainings including TEACCH and PECS, and continues to attend local, state and national conferences to maintain education on the most current research for children and adults with autism. Mrs. Kaplan provides trainings to families, school teams, and paraprofessionals; in addition, she is a supervisor to students who are seeking their Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. Mrs. Kaplan was a member of a research team at Nova Southeastern University studying best practices for children with autism. She holds memberships in the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis, Autism Society of America, and the Council for Exceptional Children.

Laura O'Dwyer Image

Laura O'Dwyer M.S. CCC-SLP, BCBA
Mrs. O'Dwyer is co-founder, operator and direct supervisor of Foundations Therapy, Inc. She is a Florida-licensed speech-language pathologist and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Mrs. O'Dwyer is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Florida certified teacher who has over 15 years experience working with children with autism and related disabilities. To support functional communication and skill development, she provides services in preschools, general and special education classrooms, family homes and community settings. Mrs. O'Dwyer has attended trainings including PECS, TEACCH and the Annual Southeast Augmentative Communication Conference, and frequently attends local workshops and conferences. Mrs. O'Dwyer is a member of the Association for Positive Behavior Support (APBS), American Speech-Hearing Association (ASHA), Florida Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (FLASHA) and Florida Association for Behavior Analysis (FABA). She participated in research at Nova Southeastern University, presented at the Florida Applied Behavior Analysis convention and presented a poster session at the FLASHA convention.

Assistant Director

Amanda Famularo Image

Amanda Famularo, M.S. CCC-SLP, BCBA
Ms. Famularo is the Assistant Director at Foundations Therapy Inc. and oversees all evaluations, programming, staff and parent training, as well as the supervision to students who are seeking their Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. Ms. Famularo is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Florida Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She received her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida and received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and her Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Famularo is an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist, who performs evaluations and supports families of young children with Autism or suspect of Autism in the Early Intervention program. Ms. Famularo has been working with children with autism and related disabilities for over 5 years in a variety of settings. She has an enormous passion for the fields of Applied Behavior Analysis and Speech-Language Pathology. She finds that being able to be a part of the children’s progress, collaborating with other professionals and caregivers, and guiding colleague students with the same passion to be such rewarding components of working in this field.

Adria Sainz Image

Adria Sainz M.S., BCBA
Ms. Sainz is a Supervisor at Foundations Therapy, Inc. who evaluates, develops programs, provides on-going program updates, and conducts family and therapist training. Mrs. Sainz is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Oriente in Cuba and her Master of Science degree in Counseling with the Concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. Mrs. Sainz has more than ten years of experience working with children of varying ages and their families. For the past six years Mrs. Sainz has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis providing services to children with autism and related disabilities in a variety of settings. As an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist, she works with families of young children, collaborating with other professionals in a team to provide parent training on early intervention procedures. Mrs. Sainz also provides supervision to students who are seeking their Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Jessica Miret Image

Jessica Miret, BCaBA
Ms. Miret is a Supervisor at Foundations Therapy, Inc. who evaluates, develops programs, provides on-going program updates, and conducts family and therapist training. Ms. Miret is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University. She is currently continuing her education as she pursues her Master of Science in Psychology with a Concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis; she plans to obtain her BCBA upon graduating. Ms. Miret has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis for the past six years as a Behavior Assistant, gaining extensive experience with children and adults ages 1-45 diagnosed with varying developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Dandy-Walker Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Fragile X Syndrome, Selective Mutism, Sensory Processing Disorder, and Vision Impairment. Ms. Miret is an Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist, who evaluates and supports families of young children in the Early Intervention program.

Taylor Thompson Image

Taylor Thompson, BCaBA
Ms. Thompson is a Supervisor at Foundations Therapy, Inc. who evaluates, develops programs, provides on-going program updates, and conducts family and therapist training. Ms. Thompson is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and received extensive training through supervision and conferences with a concentration in verbal behavior. Ms. Thompson continues her education to obtain a Masters in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis with the intention of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Taylor has been working with individuals with autism and other related disabilities for over five years. She found her interest in this area after an opportunity to work training young adults with disabilities on how to prepare for job interviews, organizational techniques for school, and ultimately develop their independence.

Ashlee Uliano Image

Ashlee Uliano, M.S., BCBA
Ms. Uliano a Supervisor at Foundations Therapy, Inc. who evaluates, develops programs, provides on-going program updates, and conducts family and therapist training. Ms. Uliano is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University. She then went to Nova Southeastern University to complete her Master’s degree in Counseling and Applied Behavior Analysis. During that time, Ms. Uliano worked as a teacher’s paraprofessional in a classroom designed to meet the needs for children with autism and related disabilities. Ms. Uliano has worked in the field of applied behavior analysis for the past four years in various settings. In addition, Ms. Uliano Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist, who evaluates and supports families of young children in the Early Intervention program.
